What We Cannot Accept

For safety and regulatory reasons, we cannot haul hazardous materials. These items require specialized handling and licensed hazardous waste disposal services.

Wet / liquid paint and stained paint cans
Motor oil and automotive fluids
Propane tanks (even empty)
Biohazardous and medical waste
Asbestos-containing materials
Hazardous chemicals and pesticides
Batteries in large quantities
Live ammunition and explosives

For household hazardous waste disposal, check with your county's recycling or public works department. Gilmer, Fannin, Union, and Pickens Counties all have periodic household hazardous waste collection events.

Items That May Need Special Handling

Some items need advance notice — larger crew, special equipment, or scheduling. Mention these when booking:

Do you take old TVs and electronics?
Yes — TVs, computers, monitors, stereos, and other electronics through proper e-waste channels.
Will you take a mattress?
Yes — mattress disposal may carry specific handling, but we take care of it.
Can you haul away construction waste from my renovation?
Yes — drywall, lumber, flooring, tile, insulation, fixtures, and renovation debris. See our Construction Debris page for details.
What can't you take?
No hazardous materials — wet/liquid paint, motor oil, chemicals, biohazardous waste, propane tanks, asbestos. Ask if you're unsure.
Do you take hot tubs or playground equipment?
Yes — these need advance notice for crew and prep, so mention them when requesting a quote.
Can I confirm acceptance of a specific item before booking?

Do you take items in any condition?
Yes. Broken, non-working, old — condition doesn't matter as long as it's not hazardous.
